| It's time for an update... Well, we have recovered from the accident. And God actually provided me with another car a week and a half later. And the car actually cost less than all repairs that my old car needed anyway, and it is in perfect condition, and it's newer than my old car. So we were definitely blessed, we trusted God to work it all out, and He did! On another note, work at the daycare is going well. It gets overwhelming at times when you have 10 one-year olds screaming at the same time for absolutely no reason. But then other times, it's rewarding when you sit down on the floor and they all come running at you with big smiles on their faces cuz they just want to sit in your lap and hug you. I really enjoy this job, and it teaches me a lot that I will need to know when we start having kids of our own. I also just got back from Destin, FL. My 2 best friends and I took a long weekend to lay on the beach. We had a blast, and it was great getting to hang out. Our lives keep us so busy that we hardly ever see each other any more. So it was much needed girl-time. At the same time, I missed Adam greatly and was very happy to come home to him and Angel (our puppy-well she's not really a puppy, she's 4, but she's still my puppy ). Oh, did I mention my mom got remarried a couple months ago. That's right, the woman that once claimed selibacy for the rest of her days, fell in love all over again with her ex-fiance from 13 years ago. Circumstances weren't right back then, but they are now, and God worked it all out for her. I'm really happy for her. I was worried about her being lonely especially after I got married. Turns out 2 weeks before they got engaged, she told God she was lonely, and said that Ronnie (her now-husband) was the only man she would ever consider being with, and asked God to reveal to her if it was His will for them to be together again. But she never thought it would happen, expecially since he lived five hours away and they hardly ever talked anymore. A week after that, Ronnie's sister called my mother and said that their dad had passed away. Mom went down for the funeral, and over that weekend, the spark was rekindled. She came home, they talked for hours a day for a while, next thing I know, my mother calls me to inform me that she is going to move down to Hinesville and marry Ronnie. And that's the story....she's happy, so I'm happy. Well, that's pretty much all that's going on in my life for now. That and I'm about to go meet up with Casey Fox who is passing through Atlanta this weekend, I'm excited. And I better go now so I'm not late. Much love to you all. |
